Filtrete Ultra Clean Small Room Air Purifier (FAP02)

The Filtrete Ultra Clean Small Room Air Purifier has a number of features:

1. Filter change sensor to tell you when the filter is becoming blocked with particles that have accumulated as it cleans your air.
2. No Ozone produced by this purifier.
3. 3 speed fan.
4. Attractive design, though if you want a really stunning air purifier, you might like to look at the 4 inch thick FAP04 Filtrete Ultra Slim Air Purifier.
5. CADR for dust (128), for smoke (103) and for pollen (149), with a quoted combined clean air delivery rate of 340.
6. Effective for rooms up to 160 square feet (14 square metres).
7. High dust & allergen capture rates, with advanced Filtrete filtration effectively capturing up to 99.9% of airborne particles passing through the air purifier.  This includes the usual stuff like pollen, mold & spores and dust mite debris.
8. Quiet operation.

Ideally this purifier is suited best to a home or office, but it is worth reading the reviews on Amazon as the three reviewers who have so far reviewed the FAP02, only awarded it an average rating of 2.3 out of 5.  Read those reviews here.   Alternatively, the slightly different FAP02-RC was received better with 5 customers each awarding this air purifier a maximum of 5 out of 5.  So of the two models, the 3M Ultra Clean Bedroom Air Purifier – FAP02-RC is going to be a better bet, and its cheaper too.
